10 Things That Will Definitely Happen When You Move in With Your Partner

It's happened. You've found someone you like enough to actually move in with. We're using like for a reason. Sure you hopefully love this person too, but love and like are two totally different things and when you move with someone you love, you learn this pretty fast. It's awesome those first few days or weeks. You're finally around this person all the time! You get to spend more time together than normal since you're sharing the same bed! Isn't it wonderful to see the person you love the most in this world every day, every night...all the time? It is. Or at least it can be. No matter how much you love someone, there are few things that you just can't avoid when you move in together. 

1. You have to accept their decorating style…and work with it. It's great when you can decorate your own room without anyone's input but now you have someone else to consider. It's totally normal to fight about what furniture to buy. In the end, your sense of style will only deepen with another person's input. 

2. You realize how often you talk to yourself because someone starts answering. Next time you ask yourself, "where did I put my damn phone?" you'll probably hear "I don't know, why are you asking me?" It's not the voices in your head. It's the love of your life. 

4. You can’t talk about him/her to your friends in private. Remember when you used to fight with your partner and call your BFF to vent? You can still do that...anywhere else but your own home. 

5. Hair. Everywhere. Whether you're moving in with a guy or girl, you will start to find their hair EVERYWHERE. They will start to find YOUR hair everywhere. Couples succeed when they accept shedding as a part of life. 

6. All the cute things they do suddenly become the WORST things they do. That way he wipes his mouth after everything he eats? The way she snorts when something is super funny? It's cute now. It won't be in a month. 

7. They will eat your food. Go ahead and make some food boundaries now. Otherwise you're really in for it. 

8. They will throw away something you love. That old flyer from your favorite concert looks like trash to them. Make sure to put it away before it ends up in the garbage. 

9. You always have someone to watch Netflix with. Just don't watch the next episode of OITNB without them. And if you do, fake like you didn't. 

10. Finally someone who can kill bugs for you. Because no one should have to kill their own bugs.
