102-Yr-Old Granny Says She Stays Healthy With Daily Hennessy Shots--Get it Ms. Ida
Listen...this 102-year-old woman proves that saying that "age ain’t nothing but a number."
Runner and all out G, Ida Keeling, recently shared some of her best health tips with Allure...and you won't believe which is her number one stunna!!! She takes a shot of Hennessy every day. We ain't mad at her!!
“The doctor put me on Hennessy in 1972 because I had poor circulation. I take me a lil shot in a glass straight,” Keeling told the women's fashion magazine.
Granted Henny isn’t the only thing that is keeping this amazing woman alive. She swears that you gotta eat right, too! “Eating for nutrition and not for taste. I drink cod liver oil in the morning. I take that and orange juice and all kind of vegetables.”
Oh, and let's not forget that you gotta workout EVERY DAY!!! “Make sure you exercise every day, exercise is the best medicine out there,” she says. She added," Because if you don’t use it, you’re going to lose it.” We hear you ma'am!
In case you didn't know, Ms. Ida holds the record as the oldest person to complete a 100-meter run.
Take a look for yourself:
“It was wonderful,” Keeling told Runner's World after the race was over.
“I’m very happy to offer all of this crowd a nice example of what you can do for yourself, and I thank God every day for my blessings.”
Keeling's daughter Shelley Keeling is her coach and got her mom into running when she turned 67. Here they are together getting their jog on.
We love it! Look...If Ida can workout every day in her older age, explain what's stopping you?
