12 Female-Fronted Bands to be Inspired By

Let’s use our girl power to stop stigmatizing any band that has girls in it as a “girl band.” That same logic isn’t used for a music group that has all guys. Think about it! Only a very specific type of group is a “boy band.” Instead, let’s be inspired by those rocking female babes who front bands and exude confidence, chicness, fearlessness. Those girls who sing, play instruments, and give a voice to their bands. From Kathleen Hanna who fronted Bikini Kill and was one of the creators of the riot grrrl movement to Gwen Stefani in her start as the '90s goddess fronting No Doubt, these women inspired and continue to inspire when we rock out and sing to their songs in our rooms.
