These days, it is so hard to be confident about your body and genuinely have a positive outlook about it. However with eight helpful tips you will be able to start seeing yourself in a new light!


1. Surround yourself with positive vibes

The world can be very negative place and it is easy to get stuck in that vicious circle. By surrounding yourself with people and atmosphere that is upbeat and positive you will be much happier.


2. Don’t compare yourself to someone else

Everyone is different and sometimes it is hard to remember that when someone else is in the spotlight. Try and focus on you because you are unique in your own ways!


3. Your weight & clothing size is just a number

Social media will try to tell you that size matters, but really all that matters is that you feel good in your own skin. Wear what makes you happy and comfortable that by far will make you shine because you will be radiating with confidence!


5. Set goals that have zero to do with your body

Strive to be better because you want to be more social, more engaging, or more confident. Try to focus on things that are inner beauty because at the end of the day that is what people will remember about you!

6. Workout to feel good, not just look good

Working out can feel endless and sometimes like you are not getting anywhere, and that can be straight up defeating. So instead focus on working out to be physically healthy and do workouts that make you happy like Zumba or Pilates!


7. Take a compliment

When you are not feeling that confident about yourself it is very hard to even say thank you when someone compliments you. So take the compliment and believe it! Knowing that others see beauty in you will do nothing but encourage you to be positive about yourself.


8. Don’t analysis every inch of your body

It is easy to sit in front of a vanity mirror for hours eagle eyeing every single pore on your face, but why? Avoid looking in the mirror every chance you get and when you do look in the mirror, smile and think about things you like about yourself!
