According To Scientists, This Is The Worst And Most Gruesome Way To Die
Have you ever wondered what the most painful death in the world would be?
We have, and, until today, we would've thought that bleeding out from a small incision in the stomach (yes, we've actually thought about this) would be the worst way to die. We were wrong.

It has now been concluded that the most painful death is from a sea creature known as the Osedax. A small, bug like creature, the Osedax roams the dark depths of the sea like the Angler Fish. It survives by feeding off flesh of any kind, and to say that Osedaxes are carnivorous would be an understatement.
They are more commonly known as "bone-eating snot flowers" because they insert themselves through the nasal cavity. Once there, they eat through bones, slowly ripping through the body from the inside out.
Sounds like a science-fiction horror film, right?
That's because the Osedax behaves in the same way the aliens from Ridley Scott's Alien and Daniel Espinosa's Life. By inserting itself through an open cavity, these aliens eat their prey from the inside out. Like the Osedax, these aliens feast on flesh, as well as use this flesh as a means of reproduction.
Ewww. We're sure as hell going to have nightmares about this shit for weeks. How could you not? The next time a bug flies up your nose, be thankful that it is not an Osedax.
Let's hope and pray that these creatures do not adapt to climate change for no one wants them dominating land like they do the sea.
