American Airlines Employee Who Slapped A Mom And Her Baby With A Stroller Is Suspended
What in the world is going on with these airlines these days??? First, United with all of their screw ups, and now American Airlines!
A flight attendant for American has been placed on suspension after reportedly hitting a mom with her baby’s stroller!
As the woman was boarding a plane from San Francisco to Dallas with her babies in tow, a male flight attendant “violently took the stroller,” hitting the mom and just missing one child she had in her arms, according to a witness on the flight.
A video posted to Facebook by Surian Adyanthaya showed the aftermath of the incident, with the mom crying, and one passenger even ready to fight the flight attendant! Watch below...
Because the mother was in tears and this was all foul as hell a passenger got up to defend the mom. “Hey bud, you do that to me and I’ll knock you flat.” A fight definitely almost goes down between the two, but another attendant and even the pilot intervene!
The story going around is that this woman, originally from Argentina, had this large stroller, which should have been checked instead of trying to bring it on the plane. Either the woman forgot, or didn’t care, but the flight attendant then snatched the stroller away from her, hitting her in the process. Another flight attendant said that it was an accident, but it seems like this guy was irritated about the stroller and acted out because of it!
The video filmed on the plane has been viewed close to eight million times since it was posted over the weekend. Of course, since the video is going viral, American Airlines put out a statement, stating that the flight attendant’s behavior was unacceptable and that an investigation was being launched.
“What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers,” the airline’s statement read. “We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident.”
It’s crazy that people are even experiencing these things as they try to get to their destinations. Flying on a plane can be nerve wrecking enough, without having to worry about flight attendants and their attitudes! It doesn’t matter what this lady did wrong. Flight attendants are supposed to be helpful and caring. If that’s not you, get another job!
