As if you needed more reasons to love her, Ariana Grande just unleashed a double whammy of awesome.

The first dose of badass comes from her brother, Frankie, who recently spoke to Attitude magazine about a wide range of topics. The story that has everyone talking, however, is how amazing Ariana reacted when he came out as gay.

“There’s a 10-year age gap,” says Frankie, “and I came out to her when she was just 11 years old, and she said: ‘Great, when do I get to meet your boyfriend?'”

Even most open-minded adults wouldn’t handle that news so smoothly, but once you hear about her upbringing, it makes sense. “She was raised in a family where gay was not only accepted, it was celebrated,” Frankie explained. “The fact that some people are in families who throw them out because they’re gay or they’re being told they’re wrong because of who they are, it’s a tragedy and both she and I feel it’s our responsibility to educate those people and help them see that we’re all the same.”

And don’t worry about the sibling’s relationship – they’re as tight as ever. “She’s my best friend and probably the person who makes me proudest on this planet. I’m so proud of her because she’s someone who at a very young age knew what she wanted to do, pursued it and succeeded to an extent none of us could have foreseen. And she did that herself; she’s not the product of any sort of machine.”

#Adorable.

But if that heartwarming story wasn’t enough for you, how about another one of Ariana’s relationships? Perhaps a slightly sexier one?

The pop megastar just appeared in boyfriend Mac Miller’s newest video, and well, see for yourself:

Grande is *literally* the girl next door, being serenaded by her beau in the next room. She took to Instagram to describe the video, saying, “That time I dropped my groceries, had a bowl of Cheerios, fell in love w my neighbor through the wall telepathically and it rained in my apartment. I love you @larryfisherman. We made another cool duet and i like your singing voice. ♡”

That last part seems a little questionable – she loves him, but only likes his singing voice? – but the sentiment probably came from a good place. We’ll let it slide since they’re clearly happy, even if they can’t get in the same room together.
