As someone who plays a character that always looks like she's fresh off the runway, you'd be surprised to find out that Ashley Benson's skincare routine isn't drastically different as everyone else's. She doesn't go to the dermatologist because she gets too lazy (honestly, same), and every now and then, she posts silly zit cream selfies on Instagram.

Ashley has always been open about her struggle with acne to make her fans feel comfortable in their own skin.

"I’ve done a lot of posts with acne medicine on all my pimples, just because everyone has acne and I think that’s cool to share with people,” Benson shared with EW. “I think a lot of younger girls look at people in the entertainment industry — singers or whoever — and think they’re the skinniest people and they have nothing wrong with them."

She's recently partnered with Differin, the former prescription acne treatment that’s now available over the counter.

"Acne is obviously an unfortunate thing to deal with, and it makes you feel like everyone is staring at you.. But at the end of the day, there’s nothing you can do, and that’s why I’ve been so open about it to my fans. Everyone gets acne and it is what it is," Ashley told Allure.

We're right there with you, girl!

But as with most products, what works for one person may not work for everyone. Which is why Ashley has another technique to get rid off pimples, and the best thing is, it's absolutely free!

"If I [do get a stress breakout], I put a a super-super-hot towel on [the pimple]. If It’s inflamed, it’ll go down—at least for me—and the towel also clears the redness away. On set, they always steam our faces. If they have to, they’ll just [pop it], but if not, they do that and put a little bit of oil on it so it doesn’t dry out. I also don't touch it."

As for the rest of her skin routine, she keeps it pretty simple.

"I use a lot of coconut oil for moisturizer, it’s the best. Then I use concealer and eyebrow gel, and that’s pretty much it," she shared with Teen Vogue.

Yaaass! Now excuse me while I heat myself a towel.
