Bromance Alert! Ashton Kutcher Blows John McCain A Kiss While Testifying Against Sex Trafficking
Entertainment Tonight

You might know Ashton Kutcher as an actor. But in addition to acting, social justice has always been close to his heart. Specifically, the issue of modern slavery, also known as sex trafficking, hits close to home for the 39-year-old actor. Instead of sitting at home and tweeting about it, he decided to take a stand and testify.

Kutcher held back tears as he testified, remembering a time when the Department of Homeland Security couldn't locate a girl whose rape was posted on the internet. “It devastated me,” he said. “It haunted me. Because every night, I had to go to sleep every night and think about that little girl who was still being abused, and the fact that if I built the right thing, we could save her. So that’s what we did. And now, if I got that phone call, the answer would be ‘yes.’”

Fighting against sex trafficking isn't anything new for Kutcher. He’s the co-founder of Thorn, an organization he created with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, that helps locate trafficking victims.

During the hearing, Senator John McCain joked with the actor, telling him he was “better-looking in the movies." Kutcher then blew McCain a kiss across the room, creating an unforgettable bromance between the pair.

When TMZ approached McCain after the hearing, McCain called Kutcher a "good guy" and thanked him for "all the good work he's doing."

Who knew Ashton Kutcher and John McCain would hit it off so well?
