Luxury Cirque du Soleil's Theme Park

As if Cirque du Soleil wasn’t already over the top enough:

The wildest performance on Earth just announced that they’ll be opening a theme park deep in the heart of Mexico sometime in the near future.

Thing is, no ones exactly what that means. The company behind the endeavor, Vidanta, isn’t giving up a whole lot of details just yet. All they’ve done is confirmed it’s happening at the company’s resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.

The little we do know sounds awesome. According to Thrillist:

"The Park will fuse Cirque’s immersive entertainment with Vidanta’s luxury vacationing, creating a fantasyland where families can explore and get away from it all.

It will have three hotels feature a range of components -- a mix of interactive theater with water features, VIP hydrotherapy circuit for adults, experiential and interactive entertainment experiences, and embedded CDS actors.

The park is meant to look like it sprouted up from the ground and will be overwhelmingly lush and green. What you won’t find: plastic tubing, slides, stanchions, etc."

Helpful, but doesn’t exactly paint a picture, which is why all we can do is get lose in these gorgeous mock-ups, which has the entire internet salivating with anticipation:

Besides looking like the utopia of theme park, it should be a massive economic boost for the region -- the park is estimated to bring in 2.5 million visitors in the first year alone. When you combine that big ol’ number with the huge increase in jobs, the development should be massive positive for the region.

But the real question is still unaddressed: will there be rollercoasters? Someone get on this ASAP.
