Who killed 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee?

CHICAGO -- A possible break in the murder of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee. Chicago police are questioning a "person of interest."

But so far, no arrest has been made.

Tyshawn was shot several times Monday... in the middle of the day... in an alley near his grandmother's home.

Police believe he was "lured and targeted" in retaliation for recent gang murders on the South Side of Chicago. To make matters worse... police say Tyshawn's father may have played a role in the gang rivalry.

But Pierre Stokes told WGN-TV, that's just not true and has a message for his son's killer, "You can't get away with it. Just turn yourself in."

Our hearts break for Tyshawn's family. His mother has set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for his funeral. To donate, click here.
