The power of Black Twitter strikes again. This time, it's all about #AvaBarbie -- who's rocking fresh braids, decked out in all black, chilling like a BOSS in her director's chair.

But uh, good luck trying to get one. The dope doll, made in the likeness of "Selma" filmmaker Ava DuVernay, sold out within minutes of hitting Barbie's site Monday morning!

Dang! But we def saw that coming.

Ava Barbie was originally created for Mattel's Shero project. Well, after getting flooded with tweets, Facebook posts and emails, Mattel rolled it out for mass production this week -- just in time for the holidays.

We're sure the requests won't stop now that Ava Barbie's sold out!
