Woman Slays As She Rejects Former Bullies Date Offers After Dropping 145lbs

As a once upon a time fat kid who was never on the radar of any boy she liked in school, Emma Pope is now a queen. Today she’s a 23-year-old nursing student who rocks a size 8. Back in high school though, she clocked in at 315lbs, which isn’t a problem - but the guys and even girls who made her life a living hell definitely saw it as one. Tormenting her to a breaking point, Pope decided to start losing weight and now she’s having the last laugh as her former bullies are lining up to date her and she’s saying, hell no!

Pope told The Daily Mail, “'I was bullied a lot at school but I never told my parents. I bottled it all up and never said anything about the hurtful comments kids made, they were pretty awful to me.” A girl can only take hearing things like get your “fat ass off the court,” and being dubbed “the fat girl” so long before she takes action. So that’s when she decided to get up and get active. She changed her diet up, started a workout plan and has lost more than half her weight. That’s not even the best part.

“I've had messages from guys telling me how sorry they are for what they said to me, it really shocks them to see me now.I doubt they are apologizing out the kindness of their heart, there's definitely an ulterior motive so with any attempts to flirt with me I reject them immediately,” Emma said, adding, “It's quite offensive that it took me losing weight for them to even consider speaking to me.”

Yes, accomplishing that weight loss is great but that fact that the guys who used to tease her and make her life miserable are now creeping around trying to get some - that has us dying. They think she’s just going to give in because they were once the “cool” kids five years ago? Honey, ya’ll peaked in high school while Emma has just begun to let herself shine. We know it, and Emma sure as hell knows it.
