California Parents Arrested For Shackling & Starving Their 13 Kids!!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY SICK!!!

Riverside County police couldn't believe what they saw when they responded to a call that a couple was starving and shackling their 13 kids. 

How'd they get caught? One of the daughters found a cell phone in the house and found the courage to call 911. 

According to the New York Times, when the po-po got there, they saw the kids--ages 2 to 29-years-old--emaciated and chained to their beds and other furniture. 

IT GETS WORSE: The adult children were so small that authorities thought they were teenagers!!! Hell, they thought the 17-year-old girl that called them was ONLY 10-YEARS-OLD!

David Allen Turpin, 57, and Louise Anna Turpin, 49, were both arrested on nine counts each of torture and child endangerment. 

"They noticed the children were malnourished, it was very dirty and the conditions were horrific," said Riverside County Sherrif's Department Capt. Greg Fellows. 

He added that the children's mother did not know why deputies had come to her home. 

"It seemed that the mother was perplexed as to why we were at that location."

Soon after finding the siblings, the police have them food and water and later took to them to the hospital. Their conditions haven't been shared with the public, however, there was no indication of sexual abuse.

A neighbor of the family, Roberto Gomez, told the Times that the family kept lights on inside the house all the time, yet they were rarely seen outside.

Another neighbor, Andria Valdez, told the Press-Enterprise her family would sometimes joke about the Turpin family being like the Cullen family of vampires from the Twilight series.

“They only came out at night,” she told the news outlet. 

“They were really, really pale.”

David's mother Betty Turpin told CNN that the family was "respectable" and had year-passes to Disneyland. 

"This is a highly respectable family," Turpin said. "They all dressed alike when they went out."

"It was easier to keep up with the kids" that way, their grandmother said. "They were very protective of the kids."GURL WHET???

It looks like the only protecting those kids needed was from their own parents!!

So what will happen to the parents? 

Hopefully, they we will be locked up for life! But in the meantime, they are being held in jail with bail set at $9 million each.
