Cop Impregnated 14-Year-Old Girl He Was Mentoring, Sentenced To 12-Years Behind Bars

There are good cops, then there're  bad cops.Then there are cops so f*cked up you start to wonder how they even got their badge in the first place. 

James Blair is the latter. Blair, 51, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to statutory rape after impregnating a 14-year-old girl he was mentoring. 

The former North Carolina police office is now registered as as lifetime sex offender and is prohibited from having any contact from the victim, despite the fact that he's been trying to get ahold of her. SMDH!

The victim, now 14, is expected to give birth soon, which is quite terrifying, to say the least. Her mother plans to help raise the her grandchild.

“For the baby, I found a place in my heart because God loves everybody and this baby is going to be very well loved,” she said.

However, the baby isn't going to heal the damage Blair. 

“She was a wonderful kid, but like I said, a kid with problems,” said the victim's mother. “And then this officer steps in and says he’s going to make a difference. He made a difference, all right. I just think justice has been served. He manipulated my daughter. He manipulated my family.”

We hope the family can find peace.
