If you could use a feel good story right about now...here you go. This story is what Christmas miracles are made of!

Sofia and DaShoan Olds, both 33, have been married 13 years but they didn’t have any children…until now! Thanks to an amazing adoption, they are proud parents to siblings Necia, Eric and Erica, Zavian, Dava, Keyon and Gentry.

Sofia saw the kids’ story posted on Facebook this past spring—the seven siblings had been living in three different foster homes for over two years—and as soon as she saw a photo of the four boys and three girls, Sofia knew they were “the children I was meant to mother.”

“Looking at those faces, I could see the sweetness and the kindness knowing anything that happened in their lives wasn’t their fault and if I can do anything to keep them together, I will,” she told Today.com. “It was no question.”

Just in time, too: Eric said he and some of his siblings had been separated for so long that his memories had begun to fade. It’s awful they couldn’t even keep in touch with each other.

Blair Bell, the children’s representative and adoption specialist at the Life Management Center and Big Bend Community Based Care in Panama City, Florida, told ABC News that the kids “faced personal challenges” with their parents and that’s how they became wards of the state.

The Olds, both veterans who served overseas in Iraq, are no strangers to answering the call of duty. So they contacted Bell, who cautiously scheduled visits for the couple and the children. On June 2, DaShoan and Sofia Olds brought the seven sibs home for the beginning of their required 90-day adoption placement—and they passed, big time! Now the kids are in their forever home, all together at last.

Sofia and Dashoan had always thought adoption would be an option for them, but they never dreamed their family would grow so quickly—and just in time for Christmas! Can you imagine how happy they all are? The Olds really do seem like the perfect parents…he’s a high school teacher and she is a social worker.

“We’re having a blast every day, all the time,” Sofia told ABC News. “I think you have to have a heart for what we’re doing and we have the heart. All children deserve to have a mama and a daddy.”

“There have been adjustments to their finances,” reported Today.com, “and the couple admit they don’t indulge in themselves anymore. But their focus now rests on the children and getting them into routines. Homework always comes first, as soon as they get home from school. Then the kids get to play sports and have some fun before sitting down to dinner.”

“I never actually had a mom and dad under the same roof, but it feels great,” said Eric. “It’s like they’re both half of something, like peanut butter and jelly.”

“It’s like a dream come true,” said Necia. “It’s hard to imagine anything more to want for Christmas.”

Neither can we. It’s really the best story—Merry Christmas to the Olds!!
