Court Hearing For The 'RHONJ' Car Killers Ends In An All-Out Family Brawl
Feelings were understandably running high in a New Jersey court room during a hearing for the suspects in a double homicide that involves Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim DePaola. But even though the judge specifically warned those in attendance about being disruptive, a legitimate brawl broke out between the families involved in the case.
A few weeks back, an Audi belonging to DePaola was discovered burned to a crisp, with two dead bodies inside. The car was regularly used by DePaola’s son, but on this occasion, a friend named Aaron Anderson had borrowed the vehicle. Anderson was one of the two victims.
Police quickly determined the crime to be a homicide – even though they were burned beyond immediate recognition, both of the bodies had gunshot wounds to the heads, and arrested two suspects.
The hearing in question was to determine the bond for the two accused of the crime. Anticipating raw feelings, the judge immediately told everyone in attendance that, “I understand you have very strong feelings and may want to blurt something out.”
Well, they didn’t just “blurt out.” It got way more physical than that.
At some point during the proceedings, an argument broke out between the families of the suspects and the victims. Obscenities were yelled, and stuff was literally thrown across the aisle. As you can see in the top photo, someone even started swinging a shoe. It got so bad that one person involved in the melee is actually being charged with a crime.
A lawyer for the defendants says he may ask those involved in the scuffle not be allowed to any further proceedings.
As this case is only just getting started, you can probably expect more fireworks over the coming months.
