D.L. Hughley on Donald Trump: “He’s Too Dumb To Be President!”

When it comes to Donald Trump, DL Hughley said it as simply and truthfully as it can be said: “He’s too dumb to be president!”

The actor, comedian, and radio host was a guest on CNN’s New Day and was interviewed by Chris Cuomo to discuss Donald Trump’s continued opposition to peaceful protests by mostly African American NFL players inspired by Colin Kaepernick.

Trump, of course, tweeted this morning in opposition of NFL players yet again. “At least 24 players kneeling this weekend at NFL stadiums that are now having a very hard time filling up. The American public is fed up with the disrespect the NFL is paying to our Country, our Flag and our National Anthem. Weak and out of control” 45 tweeted.

Hughley didn’t mince his words and used his them as weapons, striking and condemning Donald Trump as a bigot. “Robert E. Lee killed more Americans than Hitler but you want a statue of him, but you want to denigrate Colin Kaepernick,” Hughley said when explaining the hypocrisy of 45’s opposition to the peaceful NFL protest. “He’s clearly a racist,” the comedian added.

But Hughley wasn’t done making it plain for anyone who tuned into CNN this morning.

“White guys with three names are more dangerous to America than dudes with Muslim names,” Hughley said in respond to 45’s continued harassment of Muslims and the fact that acts of terrorism performed by white American males are a far bigger problem for America.

Hughley continued to share knowledge using the nearly seven-minute interview to get his points across. He said “I think Barack Obama held a mirror up to America and Donald Trump smashed it,” while later saying that Donald Trump is bad for the American brand. “He’s messing up the Blue Book value of America!”
