Demi Lovato Claims She’s ‘1 Percent African,' The Internet Asks For Receipts!

Twitter trolls have absolutely no chill. When Demi Lovato tweeted the results of her DNA test on February 24 highlighting the fact that she is 1 percent African, you would swear that the Latina singer had pulled a Rachel Dolezal!!!

She wrote, "I did a DNA test and found out that I'm mainly Spanish, with Native American, SCANDINAVIAN (which I had NO idea), Irish, British.... And I'm 1 percent African!!!!" Lovato posted the actual analysis and these fools still went in on her:

Look, people. Unless the lab got it wrong, she is what she is. Lovato has always repped for the Latinas dating way back to her Disney Channel days. She isn't appropriating the culture nor is she plotting to join the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

Anyway, researchers proved years ago that Africa is the cradle of civilization so it should come as no surprise that we all have a little African blood running through our veins. Though she did offer an apology, Lovato doesn't have anything to be sorry for. Learn ya history, people, and let that girl live.
