Donald Trump Is On One...AGAIN! Why is He Still Blaming Russian Hacks On The Obama Administration?!
Russia interfering with our 2016 is no longer a conspiracy theory - it's a cold hard fact. Our president, however, still won't acknowledge that. In fact, he's insinuating that if it did happen, it's all Obama's fault. He took to Twitter to blame Obama for his problems:
Trump's tweet came just a day after Jeh Johnson, the man who served as secretary of homeland security under President Barack Obama, testified that Vladimir Putin directly hacked and interfered with the U.S. election.
"In 2016, the Russian government at the direction of Vladimir Putin himself, orchestrated cyber attacks on our nation for the purpose of influencing our election. This is a fact, plain and simple," Johnson said. "Now the key question for the President and the congress is, what are we going to do?"
Russia's hackings are no longer deniable. However, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said on Thursday that he "didn't know" if Trump believed Russia was behind these attacks.
Trump also created his own form of "fake news" when he tweeted that Jeh Johnson said there was no grand scheme between Trump and Russia. In reality, all Johnson did was decline to comment because he no longer had access to the correct intelligence.
During Trump's Twitter rant, he managed to contradict himself (no surprise there). At first, he blames the "possible" Russian hacking on Obama. Then, he claims it's a hoax. Make up your mind, Pres!
