Ed Sheeran Surprises His Most Adorable Fan And Turns Our Hearts To Mush

Eight-year-old Kai got the surprise of a lifetime after serenading his "girlfriend" Ellen DeGeneres with an Ed Sheeran song on her show earlier this week.

Sheeran's adorable fan had no idea that the 26-year-old Brit had snuck up behind him as he gave a passionate rendition of Sheeran's hit song, "Thinking Out Loud."

Kai was so shocked to see Sheeran sitting on the arm of his chair that all he could do was wave and say, "Hi."

"I was literally just watching it in the dressing room," Sheeran tells Kai, eventually giving him a high-five before retreating to prepare for his own performance.
