As the days go by and September approaches, we must all face the truth that summer is fading away.

Don't worry. Summer will return. You just have to wait 9 months.

I know. It's a super long time. Take your moment. When the flow of tears has dried up, make yourself feel better with these feel-good Netflix picks.

1. "Stranger Things"

You know how song of the summer is a thing? Now, we finally have a series of the summer. "Stranger Things" has everything you want in an end-of-summer moment: campy fun, cooky characters, insane conspiracies, and a loud fanbase on Twitter.

Get on board now because everybody will still be talking about this show when school starts. Also, get your Barb costumes ready for Halloween!

2016: The Year of BARB!

2. "Wet Hot American Summer"

The best way to end the summer is to watch a movie about the last day of the craziest summer camp you've ever been to (or at least, seen in the movies). Forget the Netflix sequel series. Go back to the original to laugh your butt off. Young Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, and Chris Meloni will remind you what summer's all about: making memories with all your wacky besties.

And an awkward fling. What's summer without some summer lovin'?!

3. "Something's Gotta Give"

Honestly, I'd watch this just to lust over Diane Keaton's house in the Hamptons. Also, don't judge me, but Jack Nicholson is kind of hot in this film.

Ok. You can judge me.

4. "Clueless"

Do you really think you can watch Cher pick her school outfit and not get excited about going back?

Exactly.

5. "Jurassic Park"

Maybe you don't need to smile to cure your end-of-summer blues. Maybe you need to be scared out of them. Take a trip of the freakiest theme park in the world, where dinosaurs basically roam free.

And yes. The original is still the best.

6. "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl"

If swashbuckling pirates with a penchant for rum can't get you to smile, we don't know what can.

7. "The Princess Bride"

This movie is a panacea for all negative emotional states.

8. "High School Musical"

The sadness of summer is often compounded with the dread of going back to school. But don't kid yourself. High school can be pretty darn magical. Maybe this year, it'll be the start of something new.

And even if it's not, at least you and your friends are all in this together.

9. "Grease" or "Grease: Live"

This movie starts with everyone going back to school and missing the lovin' days of summer! It's literally the perfect note to end your vacation on.

Savor the last few days with one final hand jive!

10. "Mean Girls"

If there was ever a movie to prepare you for going back to school, this is it.
