Father Posts A Picture Of His Son In A Princess Costume…Good Parenting, Bad Parenting, Or None Of Our Damn Business ?
If you have a kid, the question always comes up…how many decisions should you let them make themselves? Because you know you want your kid to be independent, but you also know that you know what’s best for them!
That decision came to a West Virginia father, and he chose to let his three-year-old son make his own decisions…and that decision was to wear a princess costume.
On one hand, does a three year old even know what gender roles are? But then again…is it up to the parent to teach them?
Is your child born gay or is it learned? Everyone’s opinion is different on this issue, because if some proud dad has a little girl who loves sports and is a tom boy, well, you know that just means she’s going to get some extra father daughter bonding time! Do the same rules apply if your boy wants to wear a dress?
We’re just saying…at what point does a parent champion the free expression of their kid and at what point do they make their kid do what they want? You could say that your child doesn’t get to eat donuts every day for breakfast lunch and dinner even though they want to…but some situations are different.
What do you think…good parenting or bad parenting?
