FBI Continues Hunt For 'Freedom Fighter Bandit' Who Robs Banks Set It Off Style
be funky

If y'all thought Stony, Cleo, T.T, and Frankie were bad*ss in Set It Off, check out  25-year-old Nilsa Marie Urena, who has robbed 9 banks. And this ain't no movie, either!

According to Fox 13 News, Urena started robbing banks at the end of October of 2017 and hasn't slowed down since. The FBI has named her the 'Freedom Fighter Bandit' because she passes a note to the bank tellers saying the money is for a social cause. The note also says she has a bomb, but police report that Urena has robbed these banks unarmed.

Police also report that she has a different male sidekick with her during each robbery. Devon Morris, one of her accomplices, was arrested but couldn't (or wouldn't) give authorities any information about Urena. However, police did get info from another accomplice who said he met Urena on the streets: “I saw her walking on Candler Road. I wanted to talk to her. I took her to my house. We had sex. She told me she had a bank move. I asked her what it was. She told me how she did it,” he said. “I said, ‘No, I don’t want to be part of it. It sounds too risky.’” He went through with it anyway and helped Urena rob the bank by passing the note to bank tellers.

All of her robberies have been in the Atlanta, Georgia area but police say they don't think she is from Atlanta or has any ties to the area. She has hit banks in Paulding, Gwinnett, Douglas and DeKalb counties...sometimes 2 in one day.

The FBI hasn't said how much cash Urena has gotten away with and they still don't know what her social cause is. She's on the run...and that seems to be pretty much all they have right now. We'll keep y'all posted.
