Mom Arrested for Making Daughter Sit In Chair At Home to Save Parking Spot While She Shopped
If you grew up Black, we're pretty sure you've heard your momma say something along the lines of 'if you don't like my rules in this house then the door is open' and you knew it meant whatever momma says goes. But of course your mama had good sense. You could trust her judgement.
But, this mom took it too far y'all. According to the NY Daily News, Elda Solis, 48, of Marathon, FL, reserved her parking spot by placing a chair in a parking spot--with her child in it! Come again...
Yup, Momma Solis had her 6-year-old daughter sit in the chair while she ran errands at the local grocery store. Oh hell naw!

Monroe County Sheriff's Office press release states that Solis left for the grocery store around 10p.m and didn't want to lose her parking space at her apartment complex. We all know the struggle to find a parking spot, but daannng...is it that serious? A neighbor saw the child sitting in the dark and called police. When police questioned Solis, she admitted she did use her child as a parking cone. After interviewing the child, police found out that this wasn't the first time this has happened.
Solis was arrested and booked. We wonder if she worried about her unguarded parking space while sitting in jail?
