Future Thinks He And Ciara Shared Something 'Real'

They say that you never miss a good thing until it's gone. But since Future And Ciara split, verbal attacks via social media and the press, breakup songs like "I Bet," and legal actions would make you think that neither one is missing the other.

By all accounts, Ciara has moved on. She married NFL star Russell Wilson, she's become the face of Revlon, and is pregnant with the couple's first child. 

Future, on the other hand, is still being petty and taking shots at his ex. Judging by some of the lyrics on his latest project, HNDRXX, he might still be in his feelings about the split. His lyrics in "My Collection" is the perfect example: 

"She told me she was an angel/She f–ked two rappers and three singers/She got a few athletes on speed dial/I'm tryna get the case dismissed before I see trial/And these codeine habits ain't got nothin' to do with my lil' child/No this codeine ain't got nothin' to do with my lil' child."

Sounds a bit autobiographical, doesn't it? 

In an ;issue in Billboard, the rapper insisted that he's happy but then suddenly flipped and said the following to the interviewer: "I'm just not going to settle for anything, you know? Even in my life now, I know I can be a better person. I ain't giving up on myself, so if you give up on me, I ain't got nothing else to say for you. Because if you give up on something that's real, it wasn't real to you."

Uh. OK. So how "real" was it when Future was cheating on Ciara with his wardrobe stylist? Reportedly, that was no one-night stand. Most people would argue that being betrayed by your fiancee, who fathered your first child, is pretty "real," too.

One thing's for certain, as far as any kind of reconciliation is concerned, that ship has sailed. It's probably better that he leave the past in the past and, dare we say it, look towards the future...
