Grab The Mimosas Because The 'Magic Mike' Brunch Is A Real Thing

Usually when a movie franchises too much, we get tired of it and are like, “Next!” That is not the case here honey because when we heard a restaurant in Washington D.C. was going to open a Magic Mike inspired brunch dubbed Sir Sundays, we were like, “Bring it!” We then booked flights and reservations immediately.

Brunch is already a girl’s best friend because it mixes sleeping in a bit with not only delicious food, but champagne. Well, mimosas but we like ours with more drank than orange juice, right?  So how could someone possibly make an event like this even better? Well Sax Restaurant and Lounge went and did it ladies. They decided that the public deserved, we deserved, some eye candy with our dining experience and added an all-male burlesque show to the menu.

Yup, Magic Mike like performances for two hours while you and your girls wine and dine. Snack on an omelette as a their “table service studs” refill your drinks - that are unlimited by the way (is this place a dream come true or are we being played for some fools?). Reviews have said that the food isn’t anything to write home about, but when your intentions are to see rippling biceps, whether or not your food is Gordon Ramsey worthy is not on the top of your list.

So unlimited mimosas while sculpted men do everything from dance exotically to perform aerial stunts will cost you but for $50, that doesn’t seem like too much. Hell, for only $15 bucks more you can get a VIP seat. Those who’ve went have said that that price is well worth the extra cash.

That price is nothing compared to what you’d have to pay to see the Magic Mike show in Las Vegas. Don’t you remember when Channing Tatum announced that he was taking his movie to Sin City? Tickets for that set fans back anywhere from $45 almost over $130. While that one does have Tatum’s stamp of approval, the fact that this one over in D.C. has unlimited mimosas has us swayed. Nevermind, we’ll be heading to both!
