#GetItGranny: 90-Year-Old Nursing Home Patient Gets Lit With Santa--"I Just Want To Dance.'
You're only as old as you feel! Case in point, this sassy woman was caught on camera busting all the right moves with Santa recently. In one of the more delightful and down right 'aww' worthy Christmas videos you'll see online this year, this 90-year-old woman proves we're never too old to get into the Christmas spirit -- or bust a few moves!
In a now viral video posted by Christopher Tate to Facebook, Tate, 52, was handing out presents at local nursing homes in Washington, DC with his family when he met the energetic granny.
"This little lady was standing there and I handed her a gift," Tate stated. "She said, 'What is this?' I said, 'It's a Christmas gift. Don't open it until tomorrow.' She said, 'Well, how do you know what I want?' And I said, 'What do you want?' She said, 'I just want to dance.'"
"The staff turns on music and she just started dancing!" he continued. "It was just beautiful."
Tate was eager to jump in and join the woman, who at one point kicked her walker to the curb and took Tates hand as they danced. Well, OK now!

At one point in the video, Tate can be heard asking the woman how old she is, and she tells him she's 90-years-old!
"I said, 'Are you really 90?' And she said, 'You want me to prove it?'" Tate said. Over 7 million views later, she has certainly proved it alright! Talk about spreading some holiday cheer.
"People are inspired to go and take better care of our seniors and to appreciate our seniors and to [love] our seniors," said Tate.
You never know what impact your small acts of kindness will have on others, in this case, all she wanted to do was dance -- and BOY DID SHE DANCE!
Happy holidays everyone!
