Some folks say people who have tattoos are screaming for attention. But listen up: this is no tramp-stamp, y'all!

Sakyrah Morris’ tattoo isn’t meant for attention, and it’s not to show off what a tech-Jedi she is. Still... the  aspiring singer did get a tattoo that literally speaks out loud! Yes, the future is now and she is on the cutting edge.

In fact, it’s a loving memorial to her grandmother and it’s a way to think back to simpler times. Here's where the story gets really amazing.

A few years ago, Morris’ grandma left her a midnight “Happy Birthday” voicemail so she could be the first to wish her baby-girl a wonderful 16th birthday. Instead of enjoying the message and then erasing it, for some reason Morris held onto it.

Thank goodness she did, because her grandmother passed away less than a month later. “Words can’t explain how much I miss her,” Morris said.

“I’ve been holding on to this voicemail for almost three years now, not knowing what I would do with it,” she wrote in a now-viral Instagram post.

“Today I got that exact waveform [from the voicemail] tattooed across my heart,” Morris wrote on Twitter along with a video showing how it works. “I am able to play it just by holding my camera over it.” Wow. Can you imagine? Now she can hear her grandma saying "I love you" whenever she wants.

The tattoo can be “played” via an app called Skin Motion. It scans an image and plays a stored audio file that matches the visual. While the app isn’t actually reading the sound waves tattooed on Morris’ skin, it is recognizing the graphic then playing back the audio associated with it.

This all makes perfect sense, getting audible ink, because Morris is planning a singing career, and her grandmother always encouraged her to follow that dream.

“Every blessing that is being sent my way right now is because of her,” Morris said. “I know that she orchestrated all of this for me. I will do nothing but continue to make her proud.”
