Here's How To Find Out If Somebody Is 'Netflix Cheating' On You

We have all been there. He texts, "Netflix and chill?". That ambiguous question mark which indicates that "Netflix and chill" really means put on Season 3 of Family Guy while we have sex. Once the two of you actually start to fall for each other, "Netflix and chill" turns into quite literally what it means: "Let's watch Netflix and sit on the couch."

You start to watch shows together. As a unit. That is until someone watches ahead of the other person.

Known as "Netflix Cheating," this form of dishonesty can strike a real chord in any relationship. The trick is to not let your partner see and/or know of your sinful deed (This might mean you need to get your own Netflix account. Can you afford the $7.99 monthly fee?). Personally, I do not know a single person has not done this - myself included, and, for millennials, this is almost expected.

Out of left field, Netflix did a study on who "Netflix Cheats" the most. Guess who is the worst of them all? MARRIED COUPLES.

54% of Netflix Cheaters are married. This kind of infidelity is sure to spice things up when she sees that you have been watching at work behind her back. While only 48% of Netflix users admitted to cheating, the number of married cheaters is truly astonishing and surprising. Any form of cheating is bad, but, when you are married, there is a certain trust. Apparently, this bond means nothing in the realm of Netflix cheating. Generation X, quit blaming millennials and get it together.

The next time you invite your friend to "Netflix and chill" make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. Pretty soon, you both will be cheating on each other with binge-worthy shows that y'all watched together. Are you ready for that kind of stress? Are you ready for that kind of pressure? Are you even sneaky enough to hide something so astronomical? Think before you do because it is a long, dark path filled with Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, Friends, Malcolm in the Middle, and very strange mini docu-series.
