Here's What Actually Determines Penis Size

And on the third day, God said, "Let there be big dicks."

So maybe that's not exactly how it happened. But that begs the question, who or what decides a dude's dick size? Let's look to that pesky subject of science to see what's up.

According to the Kinsey Institute, the average length of an erect penis is 5-6.5 inches while the average circumference (girth matters too ladies!) is 4-5 inches. Those are averages, so obviously, there will be men that are hitting the double digit measurements and others who are stuck with a micropenis (yes it's a thing).

Now, in terms of what dick-tates dick length, the science is a little fuzzy. Perhaps you've heard the theory that you can tell everything you need to about a man's penis from the size of his foot. This is nothing more than an urban legend. A recent study published in the journal BJU International concluded that no such linkage exists.

Some people swear the distance between a man's index finger and thumb is representative of his penis length. There's some debate over this, but most studies seem to find little to no correlation between the two measurements.

The only correlation that seemed somewhat consistent was that of a man's height and his member's length. But even that correlation was relatively weak. In other words, science has yet to find a single trait that determines dick size. So if you're a size queen, you may just have to keep on plugging away until you find that gargantuan package to satisfy your ever desire.

What do you think? Got any theories about dick size?
