How to Make Back to School Kebabs Three Ways

How to Make Back to School Kebabs Three Ways

Zelda has been carrying her OmieBox around the house for the last few days. I literally had to propose a trade for a package of bracelets to get it out of her tiny hands for my most recent WCIU You & Me segment. I was super psyched when I realized our newest creation -- a trio of back to school kebabs -- would fit into this awesome lunch box. While Zelda isn’t quite old enough for school, she is constantly on the go. I love knowing that I can make her these little kebabs, pack it in her favorite bag and send her on her way (with supervision, of course).

These kebabs are a fun spin on a traditional sandwich, there’s even a pizza one, which is definitely Zelda’s favorite. She was also a big fan of the PBJ kebab. She licked all the peanut butter off the bread, ate the fruit and discarded the bread on the floor. I guess she’s watching her carbs….don’t worry I’m just kidding! What creative creations do you make your babes for lunch? Tell me in the comments below.
