If Trump Doesn't 'Stop Running Wild', North Korea Says There Will Be 'Catastrophic Consequences'
Somebody in the White House better keep Donald Trump's Twitter fingers away from the nuclear button or else we will soon find ourselves in the middle of World War III with North Korea.
In response to the annual joint military drills that the U.S. and South Korea just completed, North Korea has flat out threatened to sink the USS Carl Vinson. They believe the latest set of maneuvers are practice for the real thing and North Korea is not here for it.
A commentary that appeared in the Minju Choson said on Sunday that there will be "catastrophic consequences" for the "special operation." North Korea sees the threat as real and they will not be intimidated.

"This has pushed the tense situation on the Korean peninsula to an unpredictable dangerous phase," the statement read. "The enemies have to know that military threat and blackmail with the mobilization of nuclear carriers and nuclear submarines cannot work on the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea]."
As Trump commemorated his first 100 days in office, he granted an interview to CBS on "Face the Nation" to discuss his plans for North Korea. Well, sort of. "I would not be happy if he does a nuclear test. I will not be happy," Trump said to host John Dickerson. And when asked if being 'not happy' means military action he responded, "I don't know. We'll see...It is a chess game. I just don't want people to know what my thinking is."
Well, he's doing a great job at keeping the American people in the dark. Slowly but surely his supporters are turning on him. And it probably isn't going to do much good for the U.S. alliance if Trump tries to make good on his promise to make South Korea pay for the $1 billion Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD). One thing's for sure, if somebody doesn't reign him in pretty quickly, we all have some very dark days ahead of us.
