There's this stereotype of southern women that they're all sweet and demure. I feel it's a valid stereotype, but what people don't realize is that it's only partially true. What makes a woman truly a southerner is her strength, courage of conviction, and intellect. 

Hell yea she does! 

Consider yourself a strong southern woman? Then you'll definitely relate to these 11 things!

1. You love your family and will take down anyone who doesn't

The term "mama bear" probably originated in the South. As a mother, you're fiercely protective. You don't believe in violence. Hell, you wouldn't hurt a fly...UNLESS someone messes with your loved ones. That person is DEAD to you.

2. You monogram your sh*t so people know what's yours

People may think it's cheesy, but you monogram stuff out of pride for your name, for your family's name, for the things you own. If someone thinks they can take your things, they've got another thing coming...(and that thing is probably a swift kick in the butt)

3. You've got better aim than your husband

Again, you're not into violence, but you're ready if necessary.

4. You've got a strong head to carry all that hair

You probably also feel like Dolly Parton is your spirit animal.

5. Just because you're polite, doesn't mean you won't take somebody to task

You were raised with manners! You never forget those. But if the gloves do need to come off, you'll do so with class, grace, and whole can of whoop a**!

6. You know how to drive a tractor

You can probably drive that tractor in high heels! Let's see a southern man pull that off. (Spoiler alert: he can't).

 No fruity bullsh*t for you. Straight whiskey is all you need after a long week.

9. You aren't afraid to get down and dirty

You'll look gorgeous for church, but you're not one of those ladies who's afraid to get down in the mud. Whether it's milking a cow or camping outside, you take the world on with full force.

10. You take your tea sweet and won't ever apologize for that

Northern chicks be like: "I'm on a diet, so I'll take unsweetened tea."

Southern chicks be like: "I'll take the sweet tea and still look hotter than you."
