Jennifer Lawrence Explains How Her Itchy Butt Almost Killed Someone (Yes, Really!)

This might be the most Jennifer Lawrence thing that's ever happened.

In an interview on the Graham Norton Show Friday night, the 26-year-old actress revealed how she almost killed someone by picking the wrong moment to scratch her butt. (You literally cannot make this sh*t up.)

When Lawrence was on the set of Passengers in Hawaii, she explained, she was sitting around in an incredibly itchy wetsuit. But then she realized she was right by a pile of sacred rocks, which you're technically not supposed to sit on, but she couldn't resist — "they were so good for butt-itchin'."

And then...

"One rock that I was butt-scratchin' on ended up coming loose," Lawrence said between laughs. "It was a giant boulder, and it rolled down this mountain and almost killed our sound guy and this whole stage got destroyed."

Hawaiians who heard about the incident chalked it up to a curse — but she knew the truth. 

"I am your curse," Lawrence said.
