Jimmy Fallon Reveals His Favorite 'Gilmore Girls' Characters -- You'll Never Guess Who His #1 Is!

If you had to guess which late night talk show host was a massive Gilmore Girls fan, who would it be?

-- actually, it’s sort of predictable. Jimmy Fallon just revealed that he’s in love with the show, and even listed his 5 favorite characters on The Tonight Show!

First though, there were ground rules: Rory and Lorelai are off limits. That’s too easy. But anyone else is fair game. And, truth be told, Jimmy changes his own rules and only names his top 4 by the time it’s all said and done, but we appreciate his fandom enough to let him get away with it.

Drumroll, please.

In fourth place is “the mayor dude” Taylor Doose because, according to Jimmy, “he just makes me laugh every time I see him!” Next up is Luke, because, “c’mon,” then it’s Kirk since, “…he’s unbelievably funny, one of the best actors out there.”

And the winner for the top spot in Jimmy’s heart? Well, you’ll have to watch below to find out!

Jimmy also revealed that he’s only through the first four seasons, meaning he’s got three still to go. He was trying to finish before the show’s revival, now only 10 days away, but that’d mean he’d have to watch six hours of the show every day until then. Not likely for one of late night’s most popular men.
