Kim Kardashian Dresses As Aaliyah For Halloween...Fans Go Off!

Welp, Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram account and posted an all too familiar video of her teasing her followers with her spilling assets. But wait a minute...that looks just like...Aaliyah?!!!

Yes, the 37-year-old Kardashian put together an exact replica of the outfit Aaliyah wore is her classic "Try Again" video. Kim sports a bedazzled bikini top accompanied with Aaliyah's signature style baggy pants. Here is the result. You be the judge:

Soon after posting the video, Black twitter got to work on Kim by vocalizing their discontent of non-Black people portraying Black people via their Halloween costumes, especially those we held in high regard such as the late Aaliyah #BabyGirl. In 2001, Aaliyah died in a fatal plane crash while in route from the Bahamas. Some fans found the costume offensive and were vocal on Twitter. Check out what was said.

While others saw it as a way to pay homage to the revered songstress and came to Kim’s rescue. 

Actually Kim tweeted on October 28th, before Black twitter went ham on her and said she would be honoring her favorite musicians for this year's Halloween. She also dressed as Cher and Madonna, but those costumes didn’t make headlines like her Aaliyah getup.
