This is how you shut down a troll (and a famous one at that) with grace and class.

Lady Gaga and Piers Morgan just got into a sniping contest on Twitter, and Gaga made the notorious British journalist look like a horse’s ass.

The pop star recently revealed she suffers from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), a condition that’s usually diagnosed for former military servicemen. In Gaga’s case, she’s unfortunately referring to a rape at age 19.

Two things right off the bat. First, a large number of people – not just bombastic TV hosts -- question claims of PTSD when the victim wasn’t a soldier. The doubters believe nothing compares to the experience of serving in a warzone, not even sexual assault.

But on the other hand, post-rape PTSD is legitimately a condition acknowledged by the National Center for PTSD. Their website describes the illness as, “[involving] a pattern of symptoms that some individuals develop after experiencing a traumatic even such as sexual assault.

While this confusion was clearly the core of the social media battle, who’s right vs. who’s wrong didn’t decide the winner – classiness won the day.

Piers came out with the argument referenced above, that only soldiers can have PTSD.

That’s when Gaga chimed in and quickly shut down his doubts about her rape situation.

She goes onto graciously offer an interview to the British journalist to discuss the topic. Notice how he fired the opening shots, and she’s drowning him in kindness?

Then Piers can’t seem to help himself and takes another shot, now questioning whether or not Gaga could ‘handle’ him. To which she responds perfectly:

But of course it wasn’t over. Even though Morgan now realized he was being a twat, the guy still couldn’t help himself and had to chime in with one last dig, this one aimed at her fashion sense.

...which Gaga again swatted away with maturity.

What do you think -- should she still do the interview after all this nonsense?
