A Masterclass In Responding to the Paparazzi Taught by Margot Robbie
In case you missed it, Margot Robbie has been totally owning summer 2016.
On top of looking like that (WOWZA), she starred in two major blockbusters. First up was "The Legend of Tarzan," in which she played Jane opposite the hunky Alexander Skarsgård.
The film scored nearly $350 million at the box office. More recently, she starred as Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad," which has already raked in at nearly $500 million.
Reviews for the film haven't been particularly positive, BUT Margot Robbie's performance has received total PRAISE! In an interview with ComicBook.com, Paul Dini, the creator of the iconic Harley Quinn character, stated that Robbie "nailed [the role] perfectly."
On top of making movies, she's making America fall in love with her. On "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Margot Robbie literally LOLed hard when Kimmel showed her a picture from her youth that betrayed her secret of being a HUGE "Harry Potter" nerd.
So yea. 2016 will go down as the summer of Margot Robbie. And just when we thought we'd fallen for her as hard as we could, she delivered a masterclass on how to sassily and HILARIOUSLY respond to annoying paparazzi. Take a look at this pic:
Not exactly the *best* photo of the gorgeous blonde. To be fair, her falling is still better looking than us on our best days. But still. Not a fabulous pic. Now look at the photo again with the caption she penned:
WE. ARE. DYING.
Let's break it down. First, she called out the "creepy pap hiding in the bushes."
Then, instead of being nasty to the photographer, she freakin' said "Thanks!"
Why did she offer gratitude? So she could perfectly set up the joke about her "Best angles," which was deliciously tongue-in-cheek.
And finally, she executed the perfect Instagram mic-drop with her choice of #blessed.
Well done Miss Robbie. Well done!
