Lebron James has made a multitude of achievments in his career. He's a three-time NBA Champion and a four-time NBA MVP. According to James, those things pale in comparison to his newest achievement -- opening a grade school for students who are at risk of falling behind. That's right, y'all may be calling him Assistant Principal James pretty soon!

The Lebron James Family Foundation, James' charity, will open the "I Promise School" next fall for third and fourth graders who are within the Akron Public School system and at risk of falling behind.

"Besides having three kids and marrying my wife, putting my mom in a position where she never has to worry about anything ever again for the rest of her life, this is right up there. Championships, MVPs, I mean, points, rebounds and assists, that stuff is, whatever," James said in a statement to Cleveland.com

James has even teamed up with filmmaker Morgan Spurlock("Super Size Me") to chronicle the first year of the school's opening. Spurlock shared his thoughts in a statement, saying,"What LeBron has accomplished on the court pales in comparison to the lasting effects he is having on the young people of Akron...I am honored to be able to share this journey with him, as well as with parents, fans and teachers around the world."

The school, whose slogan is "Nothing is given, everything is earned," will aid in giving students who are at risk of falling through the cracks, a fighting chance at a future. Students will start classes in the summer, weeks before most Akron public schools, and the days will run longer as well.

"At the end of the day this is not Cedar Point," James said. "This is a real thing, and we want our kids to have fun while learning. But, listen, we're going to be on them like a school should be because we want them to be successful, not only in the school but successful in life."

We see you Lebron! This is a man who is stepping beyond the basketball court to show our youth that an education is the real foundation to a vast future of possibilities. #Salute

Lebron isn't just throwing money or writing a check, he's dedicating his time, telling Cleveland.com, "If my name is on something, I'm involved." James even went on to joke that he might be an assistant principal at I Promise School, to "make sure my kids are doing what they're supposed to be doing."

He went on to say, "The basketball thing, I love it and I enjoy it, but to give back and be able to open up a school, that's something that will last way beyond my years."

We're here for King James-- we mean, Assistant Principal James making a MAJOR impact on the youth in Akron. Tell us what you think?
