Lil' Kim's Reaction To Remy Ma's Nicki Minaj Diss Track Is Just What You'd Expect

In the world of female rappers, the beef doesn’t get any more real than Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma.

But despite rumors of an upcoming diss track, Lil' Kim says she has no intention of joining the fray between Minaj and Ma.

Lil' Kim just chimed in on the feud during an interview with Billboard. In the article, she makes it perfectly clear that, despite how much fun it’d be for the public, she’s staying far TF away from all the drama.

“We all know the situation that’s going on with Remy and ol’ girl,” said Kim (the ‘ol girl’ is Minaj). “That’s their situation and I have nothing to do with that.”

The rumors were that Kim had agreed to remake “Ladies’ Night” with Remy, and while that may still come to pass, apparently you shouldn’t get your hopes up for any more sh!t talking.

In that same interview, Kim added that, “Number one: y’all giving ol’ girl too much credit. I’m not even thinking about that. I’m not even thinking about ol’ girl! I’m so far past that. That’s never on my mind. Ever."

"But the situation with Remy, for them to say that we were coming together to do a diss track?" she continued. "First of all, after hearing 'ShETHER,' that s**t is so hard, Remy don’t need no damn help! Why would I need to come together for that? I mean, I’m into the music and I’m speaking musically wise — the song is just hard, period. Just like [Drake's] 'Back to Back' was hard — just good hip-hop music. But I got nothing to do with that. When I had my situation and my situation came up, I handled my business. If anybody comes to me, if ol’ girl came to me, I’ma give them the business. That’s just the bottom line of it. So if it ain’t coming my way, I ain’t got nothing to do with it. Me and Remy is cool. I hate when media do that. That’s the thing."

In case you’ve not kept up with the decade-long war of words between Minaj and Remy, it’s been a battle back and forth since before most middle schoolers were born. Minaj fired the first shots back in 2007, and while there was a six year time-out while Remy was in jail, the two rappers have been sniping one another ever since her release. Rumors that the two may have dated only fueled the fires of speculation as to why these two can’t seem to stand each other.

But whatever the reasons are, it sure is fun to watch.
