Lisa Marie Presley's Twins Are Taken Into Custody After 'Disturbing' Child Photos Are Found On Her Ex's Computer
"Shocked, horrified, and sick to my stomach."
That's how Lisa Marie Presley says she felt after allegedly finding a collection of indecent photos and videos of children on the computer belonging to her estranged husband, 55-year-old musician Michael Lockwood, according to court papers filed earlier this week in which she objects to his request for spousal support.
Presley's 8-year-old twins, Finley and Harper, have been placed in the care of California's Department of Children and Family Services because social service workers feared for their safety following the discovery of the "disturbing" photos and videos, The Daily Mail reported.
In the documents, Presley claims Lockwood has "hundreds of inappropriate photos of children and is facing allegations of sexual abuse and neglect," according to E! Online.
While the papers say Lockwood has "not yet been convicted of crimes related to his possession of these photos," Presley says that the fact "that he possessed them is documented evidence of conduct" that has destroyed her "mental or emotional calm."
"I had no idea that (he) had taken those photos," Presley wrote in the documents. "I will refrain from describing the photographs in detail out of respect for the privacy of my family."
A trial has been reportedly set for March to determine the twins' future amid their 49-year-old mother's ongoing divorce from Lockwood.
Presley, the only child of late singer Elvis Presley, claims the Beverly Hills Police Department raided her home and found eighty of Lockwood's devices, which are now in police custody.
"My understanding is that Tennessee law enforcement is also conducting an investigation related to the photos and videos that I discovered," she said in the documents. "I have no idea what else may be on those devices and fear that there are more and worse images and evidence in these un-analyzed devices."
The two were married in 2006 and separated early last summer, citing irreconcilable differences.
Lockwood has called for the destruction of the prenuptial agreement they signed in 2007, which said neither party should have a claim on the other's assets if they were to divorce.
Lockwood is currently seeking $40,000 per month in spousal support and $100,000 for legal costs from Presley.
Presley says almost all of her $300 million inheritance has dried up, writing in the papers that she has to pay for two nannies to accompany Lockwood when he visits their children.
