Miracle Nurse Psychs Out Lil Man With “Magic” Shots--He Doesn't Know What Hit Him! Hilarious! (Video)

For most kids, getting shots is right up there on the list with going to the dentist to drill cavities. Yikes! Or having to go to bed when they know there’s a monster hiding somewhere in the dark. There are just some things that scare the living daylights outta kids.

But it’s unavoidable. So, even if they’re kicking and screaming…too bad. Shots happen.

For Dimitri, the little boy in the video below, a kind and caring nurse named Myranda had a couple of “magic tricks” to help him get through the ordeal.

“We’re gonna paint, and we’re gonna make circles on this paper right here,” she told him, as his grandma, Tiffany Shelby Marshall, took the now-viral video.

Distracting him with questions about what he got for Christmas, Nurse Myranda draws blood without him even noticing. She quickly pricked his finger, and with the blood drawn she led him to “paint” it on her card. Dimitri was having fun.

But then came the two injections Dimitri was so scared of…He needed two shots, one in each arm. Cue the 'Jaws' theme!

His grandma had promised him $5 if he’d be good and not cry. Myranda promised him it wouldn’t hurt.

When he saw the needle, Dimitri was pretty scared. But the nurse told him to give her a big hug, and from just behind his line of vision she gave him a quick jab. He yelled “Owww!” but that was only an instinctive reaction. 

“See, you’re not even crying,” Nurse Myranda pointed out. “You’re a big boy,” Marshall said. “You said you wasn’t gonna cry for this $5, didn’t you?” She can’t help but laugh, seeing how well her grandson did.

Dimitri even had to ask: “Did you give me a shot?”

When Marshall posted the video on Facebook, the response was overwhelming—especially in praise of the clever nurse, who took just a moment or two of extra time to help make Dimitri comfortable.

“This was by far the funniest thing ive ever seen with this kid i almost peed myself--LIKE IT AND SHARE IT PLEASE THIS NURSE WAS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!” wrote Marshall on Facebook. She got 212K likes and 427,915 shares!!
