Love Beer? Head To This Hotel That Has A Beer Tap In Every Room!

Wanna go to a beer hotel? No, it's not some kind of janky, frat boy inspired hostel. There's a real deal, nice hotel that just happens to also specialize in delicious beer.

The Doghouse Hotel & Brewery isn't ready to book rooms just yet, but the plans are in action. The idea came from BrewDog, the Scottish brewery known for wonderful craft beers and their actual love of dogs. Seriously, these guys care so much about dogs, that they'll give employees "paw-ternity leave," so they have time to take care of new puppies. One, that idea is awesome and has a perfect name. Two, every other job should follow suit. Or at least make sure people get real maternity and paternity leave. Okay, rant over.

Anyway, BrewDog's Doghouse Hotel will be a beer hotel. Placed adjacent to their brewery in Columbus, Ohio, each room will have it's very own beer tap. If guests decide to leave their rooms (which honestly might not happen), they can enjoy more selections at the brewery itself.

If that's still not enough beer, the spa (oh yeah, it'll have a spa) will offer hop-oil pedicures, malted barley massages, and hoppy facials. And don't worry, you won't end up smelling like you just bathed in beer. Not from the spa at least.

What makes this even cooler, than the idea of unlimited good beer during your vacation, is that the whole venture will be crowd funded. And crowds are willing to put up money to make beer hotels a thing! #Blessup. 

If you want to contribute to this very important contribution to society, their Indiegogo page is still accepting donations. $150 will get you a one night stay, which is a pretty regular price for a hotel room, so you should probably catch that steal while you can. 

If that's too much, even a $25 donation gets you a VIP tour for two once it's open. Sure, you'll have to get yourself to Columbus, but isn't that worth it to tell your grandchildren you stayed in the very first beer hotel?

This is an amazing trend and we hope DogHouse becomes a huge success. Mostly because we want one in every vacation destination, so we never have to stay in a non-beer hotel again!
