Luxury Shopping Without Increasing Your Anxiety Meds
There are numerous fashion bloggers out there talking about dressing for less and designing on a dime. Our pop culture has become increasingly obsessed with labels and shopping at exclusive stores but not everyone has the spare cash to buy from high end designers. Thankfully a lot of designers are (graciously) providing us with options at stores with off brand clothing but let's face it, people, the majority of us want the real thing. Real AND new. So how do we get them? The Saint Laurent's , the Valentino's the Chanel's the Stella McCartney's, how do we obtain these dream items without taking a gamble on authenticity on websites like eBay? If you don't already know about this label utopia (for less)... TJ MAXX has an area in some of their stores called "Runway". If you have not been there then drop what you're doing and gos immediately!
There is no catch BUT it is TJ Maxx therefore you have to go in without looking for something specific and being ready to hunt. It's also good idea to ask an employee which days they receive new items. The Runway section is not massive but because of its increased popularity it has grown enough to where you can find great pieces weekly.
This is a table of heaven.

This Alexander Wang bag was the first thing to catch my eye because I purchased the same one for $1000 at Neiman Marcus (and seeing it for $399 makes me want to vomit). It's a classic bag it will never go out of style.
How about a Celine? What about a Valentino or Gucci? Fendi or Stella, anyone? Let me add that I've held and cradled a beautiful Givenchy tote in this area of a different TJ Maxx in Atlanta.
They have middle to high end clothing as well. From True Religion to Herve Leger to Tory Birch and Parker they have enough to make you feel like you've found that pot of gold at the end of the label rainbow. The shoes appear a bit more sporadically but I have indeed found those beautiful Saint Laurent Tribute Sandals in both heel sizes for half the price of Saks. Nene adds "you can find authentic labels from 40-70 percent off
There are other great stores out there like Ross, Nordstrom Rack and Tuesday Morning but you won't find labels like this in a concentrated area of these stores like TJ Maxx Runway. Take a few hours, grab an espresso and treat yourself to this shopping experience that will make you feel better than a pound of non- organic chocolate along with a Xanax and glass of wine...
