Major Side-Eye! Mike Pence Says His Personal Email Use Is 'No Comparison To Clinton'
Some things just make no sense. Mike Pence saying his personal email use is "no comparison" to Hillary Clinton's personal email use is one of those things.
Pence absolutely destroyed Clinton for her emails during the 2016 presidential campaign, causing both liberals and conservatives to see him as a hypocrite.
"There's no comparison whatsoever between Hillary Clinton's practice, having a private server that was handling classified information, destroying emails that were requested by the Congress and by officials," Pence told reporters in Wisconsin.
Not so fast, Mike.
Pence's use of a private AOL email account (seriously, who still uses AOL?) was reported by thee Indianapolis Star on Thursday. The newspaper stated that Pence used the email account to discuss sensitive matters and even homeland security issues.
The account was even hacked last summer, which really puts the icing on the cake. Maybe the hacker will come forward with news regarding Pence's secret gay affairs?
Regardless, the Trump administration is still standing by Pence's decision to use a private server. A White House spokeswoman, Sarah Sanders, said because Pence was not subject to federal laws as a governor, you can't compare him to Clinton.
"There's light years of difference" Sanders told reporters.
If we learned anything from this, it's that using a personal email as a politician is only wrong if you're a woman.
