Man Slaughters Wife On Cruise & Tries to Throw Body Overboard Because 'She Wouldn't Stop Laughing At Me'

Talk about the weakest ego on the planet.

A man on a cruise ship just killed his wife in their cabin because, in his own words, "she wouldn’t stop laughing" at him.

Boat authorities were alerted to a disturbance in Kenneth and Kristy Manzanares’ cabin around 9:00pm. They were onboard a Princess Cruises ship off the coast of Alaska.

When the first witnesses came in (civilians, not boat staff), they found Kristy with a serious head wound and blood splattered all over the place. Before anyone could figure out what had happened, Kenneth started dragging his wife’s limp body out to their balcony – no one’s exactly sure what he intended, but the safe money is he was trying to throw her body overboard.

Everyone else in the room intervened, literally pulling on Kristy’s ankles to keep Kenneth from getting her outside. Around then is when the guards showed up, and one of them noticed the significant amount of blood on Kenneth’s clothes. He was immediately put in handcuffs and locked in another room while they tended to his wife. Unfortunately, 39-year old Kristy passed from her injuries within half an hour.

The FBI was contacted and immediately got involved – this happened in open water, and as such falls under their jurisdiction. Kenneth has since been charged with her murder; according to witnesses, he was crying in court when the charges were announced.

Still though, the most egregious part of this story is why Kenneth did it. Witnesses during the event claim Kenneth said, “[she] would not stop laughing at me.” And as he was being locked up, he semi-confessed to the crime by blurting out, “My life is over."

How weak-willed of a man do you have to be to murder your spouse over her teasing you?!
