Melania Trump Awkwardly Refuses To Hold Donald's Hand For The Second Day In A Row

Did someone give Melania Trump a copy of Lemonade or what?

If you were on the internet at all on Monday, you probably saw TONS of headlines about how the First Lady swatted her husband's hand away on an Israeli tarmac.

She didn't even TRY to make things seem amicable for the cameras. 

It appears as though President Trump is *still* on Melania's bad side, because on Tuesday she publicly denied his hand-holding attempt YET AGAIN.

This time, people noticed that Melania not-so-subtly brushed her hair from her face just as Donald tried to reach for her hand while they disembarked Air Force One in Rome. (He goes for the ol' butt touch instead, as you can see in the clip below.)

So why is Melania putting Donald in the friend-zone lately? Body language expert Patti Wood has a few theories on the first hand-slapping incident...

Theory #1: Melania is sick of being treated like a child.

“He was walking way in front to show his power and putting his hand back to lead her like a child, her hand went under his and up and out to say ‘No, you can’t lead me like a child,' " Wood explained in an interview with The Independent.

Theory #2: Melania didn't want to show PDA in Tel Aviv.

Fair enough.

Theory #3: Donald wants to be seen as the president, "not as part of a presidential couple."

Before Donald became president, Wood thinks his relationship with Melania was “highly sexualised, with him touching intimate zones of her body in public freely and easily, typically as he smiled and even gloated.”

But now, Wood says, Donald is all about controlling his macho image as a leader — hence why he tried to lead Melania on the tarmac, which might have offended her.

Unfortunately, we'll probably never know the real reasons behind Melania's savage rejections — though let's keep our fingers crossed for her tell-all, just in case.
