Migos & Frank Ocean Team Up With Calvin Harris For What Could Be The Biggest Song of 2017
This is a big one, y'all: Calvin Harris has teamed up with two of the hottest musical acts on the planet right now. One of them seems to pop-up whenever they feel like it, and blows us away every time. The other crew has been boiling for a minute and just blew up after a surprise endorsement. You would never expect this collab to work... But it does.
Frank Ocean and Migos have been enlisted to join Calvin on a song they like to call "Slide." We first learned about this incredible collaboration in January when Calvin teased a bit of Frank's part via Snapchat. Later, we were able to hear a clip of Quavo's verse.
As if that weren't enough to make us go crazy, Calvin also tweeted the cover art PLUS the credits for the song. With this reveal, we received the title of the song and who actually worked it. We can see that Harris (Adam Wiles), Ocean (Christopher Breaux), Quavo (Quavious Marshall), and Offset (Kiari Cephus) are listed as songwriters. Once again, we're left without Takeoff (Kirshnik Ball), who also happened to be missing on Migos' biggest hit thus far, "Bad and Boujee." We're also treated to the the funny / odd statement "Frank Ocean appears courtesy of Frank Ocean." Since Frank isn't signed to a label anymore, we can expect to see that statement a bit more in the future.
We were kept on the edges of our seats, but the time has finally arrived: "Slide" featuring Frank Ocean and Migos is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
