There was a time when the world was in a better place. Back in 2012, "The New Normal," premiered with NeNe Leakes in the starring role of Rocky Rhoades, alongside "Hangover"-alum Justin Bartha, Broadway legend Andrew Rannells, and Emmy-Award-winning television queen Ellen Barkin!

The show was sweet and hilarious, innovative and groundbreaking, reminding us that love is love, gender be damned. Here's a scene featuring the kween herself laying down the good, Christian word:

Clearly, Miss Leakes has the chops to slay on network television. I'm keeping my fingers crossed she makes an appearance on these shows:

1. "Orange is the New Black"

Look out Litchfield! There's a new inmate next season. Her crime? Excessive sass. Sit yo ass down Piper.

2. "Empire"

There's only one woman who can go toe-to-toe with Cookie Lyon. The whole world would tune in for a Cookie vs. NeNe showdown. 

3. "House of Cards"

I just want NeNe to become President on a TV show. And after dealing with the backstabbing and drama of the Atlanta housewives, D.C. will be a walk in the park.

4. "Inside Amy Schumer

NeNe. Would. Be. HILARIOUS! 

5. "How to Get Away with Murder"

The drama on this show is almost too much to handle, which is exactly why NeNe belongs here.

6. "American Horror Story"

Ryan Murphy beautifully blends the scary with the fabulous on his hit anthology series. After working so well together during "The New Normal," NeNe and Ryan are overdue for a reunion!

7. "Grey's Anatomy"
